A BIG Announcement from One Tree Yoga
hello yogis!
Today we have a big announcement for you. After more than 15 years in West Omaha, we have decided not to renew our lease and to merge One Tree Yoga into a single studio in our flagship East location. This has been in the works for several years and we are nervous but also excited to share the news with you!
Believe us when we say that we have thought this through from every single angle, and ultimately this is the best decision for our business going forward. The post-pandemic dynamic has been more challenging than we expected for filling classes at the West studio. This makes it hard for us to justify maintaining a location that is not financially thriving. Having one location will allow us to focus our attention on what we do best —delivering the best yoga in Omaha. We will be able to dedicate all of our time and energy to this special space.
We know for some of you this will be very difficult news. Please know that it is difficult for us too. In the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, he gives several teachings about how hard it is to let go, un-grasp and accept change. We know this news will take time to sink in and be accepted.
The East studio rocks. It's been there for 25 years. It's in historic Dundee, which is a wonderful and unique neighborhood. It's quirky and cute and is the heart of our business. Please join us there! Your favorite teachers and classes will be there.
We would be so grateful for your support as we transition. OTY will have a super-full schedule, including classes with the West teachers you know and love. Plus, online classes will continue for those of you who prefer that option.
The updated schedule will drop in the next newsletter on September 8th. Many OTY classes will stay at the same time slots, and there will be some new and exciting classes on the schedule. September will be the last month of One Tree Yoga West, but we are still committed to offering the best yoga in town as a unified One Tree Yoga.
