Introducing our Staff: Meet Gabe
Tell us about yourself!
I am a dedicated yogi in this crazy modern world. I have a daily meditation practice, which grounds me every morning before the day gets going. I love reading, gardening, travel, pottery and all types of movement. My husband Lucas and I have two boys, Ralph (7) and Ted (5) and our lives are very full with all the kid sports and activities.
What's your favorite style of yoga?
My favorite style is hatha, hands down. I love moving slowly and intentionally, paying attention to the breath as the practice progresses, using props and building up to something that I've worked hard for. It's rewarding and always makes me feel solid in my body and mind.
How long should savasana be?
Ideally 7-10 minutes but I am guilty of squashing it into 5. Sorry everyone!
Where can we find you on the OTY schedule?
I teach Align + Flow Tuesdays 6-7:15pm, Yinyasa Thursdays 9:30-10:45am and Hatha Saturdays 10:30-11:45am.
