Introducing Our Staff: Meet Cassie
Tell us about yourself!
Hello! I have been practicing yoga since 2014 and teaching at OTY since 2020 and I love it so much! I have recently adopted the role of wife and step mom to 2 cool kids so that takes up a lot of my time. Beyond that I love running and going on adventures with my husband (Adam), Kiddos (Sam and Zoe) and pups (Arya and Teddy). The practice of Yoga has always helped me in my day to day life beyond the mat with focus, balance, calming my mind and being more present with what’s going on… especially now with being a new mom and wife.
What's your favorite style of yoga?
I love the slow stuff where we hold poses for a long time like Yin and Restorative. I tend to be go go go in my life so slowing down and tuning in is the best.
How long should savasana be?
At least 5 minutes, if you have the time!
Where can we find you on the OTY schedule?
You can find me at the East Studio Tuesday and Thursday at 6am for the Silent Hot class.
